'A friend of a friend recommended Move to the Groove, saying that we'd regret it if someone else snapped them up - thankfully we booked them, one of the best decisions we made for our whole wedding. Sam was the most supportive and lovely person to work with to organise the evening - from advising us on things that we had no idea about, to going out of her way to help us make our unusual wedding venue to work, to creating a phenomenal play list and right through to being really flexible and helpful on the wedding evening. And then the performance itself - absolutely AMAZING. Charismatic, sexy, full of energy, talented - the band had our WHOLE wedding party up and on the dance floor from the start (think little girls right through to grannies throwing some epic moves on the dance floor). We've been to a LOT of weddings (10 in the last 18 months) and have never seen a crowd enjoy music in the same way- you can tell by how sweaty your guests get and their refusal to let the band finish :)

'Samantha Lubin setting this up for us was a dream. The first big ask was 'please play this song that no one has ever heard of as our first dance' ... And they played it perfectly. The second thing was our style of music in between live sets, we didn't want cheese, ymca or dancing queen. We wanted our favourites and current chart music and that's what we got. The dance floor was packed all night long, the band got people to sing on stage, they sang happy birthday to our bridesmaid, they got our daughter on stage for her favourite song. It got late and of course my new husband told me it's time for bed...but naturally I had bought the highest dancing heels you've ever seen and they weren't coming off for nobody until the band finished up. Quite frankly the fact my husband even danced at all let alone all night is a testament to these wonderfully talented people providing our wedding with heartfelt soul through their music. Of course we would recommend them they were completely exceptional and marvellous to listen to. The blend of singing, guitars, trumpet, drummers etc was the perfect mix of romance, fun, energy and charisma. Awesome having you guys there.'

'Organising fundraising events is a difficult task and getting support for events is even harder, hence when Aston Cricket Club organised a Soul and Motown evening it was essential that the event was a resounding success. We found Move to the Groove though a verbal recommendation and had a look on the internet where they certainly looked the part.
